Placida di Carlo is born around 1808 in Corleone, the daughter of Vincenzo di Carlo and Rosa Pirrone.
Placida marries Bernardo d’Antoni, son of the late Girolamo d’Antoni and the living Gioachina Lampo, on 20 April 1828.[1]
In 1834, Bernardo d’Antoni, 29 (b. 1805), Placida, 26 (b. 1808), and Giuseppe, a foundling, 1 (b. 1833), live outside the cortile di Bandi, near the old mill.
Bernardo is one of several participants in the Republican riots, the summer of 1837, who are acquitted and avoid execution.[2]
